To help us celebrate our 10 years of camp ministry, we are holding a Trivia Contest throughout the next few months! Did you just cringe when I said “trivia”? If so, I completely feel you there — I always feel so dumb and stay away from trivia games! But have no fear! This is simple fun to celebrate and share our history with you all!
Because Whisper Mountain is all about the getting away to refuel, let’s begin the game by giving away our new #refuel adobe mug! (We have these in three colors, but the winner and I can get into that soon!) This is one of my favorite mugs we’ve had because of how comfortable it is to hold and I like the earthy rim around the top! (I’m half hippy!)
To win a #refuel mug, answer the following question in the comments.
TRIVIA QUESTION #1:
How did we get the name “Whisper Mountain”?
(can you hear the jeopardy music in the background?) All the correct answers will be raffled and a winner randomly selected on Monday, May 16!
Thanks for playing friends,
Cassi
From God’s response to Elijah that He was not found in the rushing wind nor the earthquake, nor the fire, but in the still, small voice! It is in getting away to Whisper Mountain that folks are encouraged to hear the whisper of God personally!

1 Kings 19:11-12 Then He said “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; but after the fire a still small voice. Like a whisper.
This how Whisper Mountain got it name.
