The glamor of God authoring our stories gets lost in the daily grind of our lives. And so we pull together some thoughts, truths, good food and good company and weave them into a weekend for women.
Along with all this goodness was a time for the hands to get busy with a little basket making. There is something satisfying about making something with our hands, don’t you think? Most of these ladies hadn’t done anything like this before so it was a broadening of horizons too, which always seems to add inspiration to life!
We found encouragement in sharing pieces of our stories together, in thinking about how God weaves His grace in our lives and in being thankful for the way He weaves our lives with others in such timely and uplifting ways!
We are super thankful for Ruth King coming to teach us her craft of basket weaving! We couldn’t have done it without her and we always enjoy her company!
What a delight to spend a few days with these beautiful people! We look forward to next time our lives cross paths.
